Emily Ratajkowski is addressing the viral photos of her kissing Harry Styles.
Last month, the 31-year-old model was spotted kissing the 29-year-old “As It Was” singer in the streets of Tokyo while he was in town for his Love On Tour.
In a new interview, Emily opened up about the public’s reaction to the photos while also admitting that she “feels bad” for Harry‘s ex-girlfriend Olivia Wilde.

“It’s very bizarre to have certain experiences and then have the whole world know about them and comment on them. I’m just a person who’s gone from a three-year relationship to a four-year relationship,” Emily told Spanish Vogue about dating again after splitting from husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. “So this is the first time in a long time that I’ve been in a dating stage.”
She continued, “The interest there is in that particular area is very strange. Not that I’m surprised, but it’s a tiny slice of my life. Most of my life is focused on my son and my work.”
After the photos of Emily and Harry went viral, many speculated that Emily and the 39-year-old Don’t Worry Darling director were feuding after they had previously been friendly and attended one of Harry‘s concerts together.
Later in her interview, Emily compared the feud rumors with Olivia to Adam Levine‘s cheating scandal. Back in September 2022, the 44-year-old Maroon 5 frontman was accused of cheating on then-pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo after a woman named Sumner Stroh came forward with alleged flirty messages between she and Adam.
At the time, Emily came forward to defend Sumner, saying, “I don’t understand why we continue to blame women for men’s mistakes.”
“These approaches occur over and over again,” Emily said in her interview. “I did a TikTok talking about it when the Adam Levine case came to light. All my algorithm on this social network showed content focused on slut-shaming a 23-year-old girl.”
“I was frustrated with the way in which an attack narrative was being established on this girl, instead of asking what happens to the person who is in a relationship and as such has contracted obligations,” she added.
“In the case [of my photos with Harry], it’s more of the same,” Emily continued. “I feel bad for Olivia because she has had to suffer this situation on several occasions.”
Emily also noted that there was no confrontation between herself and Olivia, saying that all of the speculated drama on social is an “unfortunate issue.”
