It should cost a billion to look damn good, and judging by all the stunning outfits worn by Beyoncé on her Renaissance World Tour, it just might have. The fashionable hottie grabbed attention with her flawless stage performance and outfits that matched the tempo throughout the summer of ’23. She dazzled her audiences with a large production, a strong voice, and ensembles designed to sparkle under disco lights.
It would be an understatement to call the selection stunning since it was a back-to-back fashion marvel, featuring both well-known designers and lesser-known craftspeople. Bey and her bandmates donned almost 140 outfits during their voyage from Sweden, where she made her LOEWE bodysuit premiere, to Kansas City, where she finished the tour this past weekend before announcing a new film based on the legendary adventure.
Beyoncé was able to display a new level of style that felt both new and familiar thanks to the hard work of stylists Shiona Turini, Julia Sarr-Jamois, Karen Langley, and KJ Moody. She did this by drawing inspiration from vintage looks from music videos and previous performances as well as demanding the best from designers like Jimmy Choo, Fendi, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Pucci, Gucci, and others.
In addition, the mother-of-three made sure to showcase the work of Black designers, such as Feben, Maximilian Davis for Ferragamo, Olivier Rousteing for Balmain, Ibrahim Kamara for Off-White, Senegal’s Sarah Diouf for Tongoro, LaQuan Smith, and her own Ivy Park designs. Every look undoubtedly required meticulous execution, making it nearly impossible to rate and analyze the many incredible outfits.
