Style Curated, a women’s clothing boutique featuring classic, timeless designs, is now open at 1 Old Town Square, Suite 104.
Berthoud native Jenna McEnaney ran a personal styling business curating designs for individual customers prior to opening a boutique in her hometown. Her second-floor store “had no foot traffic, but it was my safe space where I could learn how to grow my business,” she said. “It was a great location to get my footing.”
Now that she’s found that footing, she closed the Berthoud store in December and opened in Old Town Square in January.
Style Curated offers women’s clothing, accessories, footwear, jewelry, candles, body and lifestyle products such as moisturizers and serums, and some home gifts. McEnaney said she’s chosen brands that are sustainable and free of microplastics.
McEnaney describes her clothing as “not designer” but “not super low price, either. The styles are classic … I tend to stay away from trends and want things that will last and be items women will still wear in five years.”
Style Curated leans in to the shopping experience. Seating areas are included around the fitting rooms where customers and guests can sip on champagne, sparkling water or beer while trying on clothes. “I want customers to come out and have fun with their girlfriends or me and have this be an experience to remember.”
And for men who may be looking for a place to bring a date or wife, “I want to make it a destination,” McEnaney said.
Anyone who goes into the store can find something they love, McEnaney said. But her target audience is women closer to 50 who have raised their children, are possibly refocusing on their careers, want to elevate their casual wear, get something that can go from daytime to evening, and women who have the time to go shopping during the day.
McEnaney said she has loved fashion her entire life but didn’t realize she could make a career out of it until she attended the Savannah College of Art and Design as a graphic arts major.
When she realized she could major in fashion, “it opened up a whole world to me.”
