Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid Review UK

Hailey Bieber’s skincare range has landed in the UK and the beauty community is pretty excited about it. I have been testing out the moisturisers and lip balms, and I thought I’d start off by showing you the Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid which there seems to be the most buzz about. Enjoy!

What is Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid?

This is a gel-serum that is dubbed as a dewy hydration layer which makes it very appealing to me indeed! Apparently this will give you Hailey’s signature dewy glow.

  • Lightweight, quick-absorbing, multi-tasking gel-serum
  • Plumps and hydrates
  • Instantly illuminates for a glazed finish
  • Targets dullness, fines lines, dryness & uneven texture
  • Supports a healthy-looking skin barrier over time
  • Suitable for all skin types including sensitive
  • Fragrance free

Key Ingredients

  • Niacinamide – nourishes, brightens + improves skin’s overall texture
  • Peptides – visibly plump + reduce the look of fine lines
  • Hyaluronic Acid – locks in hydration + replenishes cell moisture
  • Marula Oil – lightweight yet rich in fatty acids that help support + soften the skin barrier

My Review

Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid Texture
Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid Texture

The Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid was the first product I wanted to try from this collection because I love the idea of glazed looking skin.

The texture of this product is really nice. It is a gel-serum consistency with quite a high water element, much like a water cream, which makes it feel instantly hydrating and quenching as you apply it to the skin.

I like that it has Niacinamide in there as it tends to work for my skin types to really improve skin texture and give you a more even skin tone. Peptides are great for encouraging collagen production so there’s are some anti-ageing benefits in here too.

This is designed to be used as the serum step before you apply the moisturiser. Rhode recommend to follow the Glaze with the Rhode Barrier Restore Cream* which has a richer, moisturising cream consistency. I am yet to test that one properly but it has a lovely rich and nourishing texture.

When I tested the Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid I used a couple of pumps and spread it over freshly misted skin. It feels super hydrating and sinks into the skin really nicely. It gives the skin a nice sheeny glow and it is moisturising enough to be used alone under SPF and makeup if you are trying to stick to minimal skincare steps.

Is it a groundbreaking product? No, there’s nothing new here really but it’s a lovely lightweight serum-moisturiser hybrid that gives a healthy radiant finish. If you are breakout-prone you may not be able to use this as a daily moisturiser, as it could be a little heavy for those with oilier skin types.

Watch me apply it in this Instagram video:

If you’re looking for a more affordable peptide skincare product with a similar, perhaps lighter water cream texture, check out the moisturiser from COATS. Read: Coats Skincare Review.
