After Jack’s failed attempt at winning Samantha over text freshman year, Samantha decided it was on to the next! Lucky for him that wasn’t his last chance. Fast forward a couple years and they embarked on the beginning of their happy ever after. They loved running the roads together to Charlottesville, VA to spend long weekends enjoying wineries, mountain views, downtown restaurants, and time with family.
On one of these trips, they started at King Family Vineyards where Jack prepared a picnic along with a notebook containing 5 pages of love statements surrounded by wallet photos, a love note, and the engagement ring hidden in a cutout tied by a red ribbon. (I mean — literally a DREAM proposal right!?) Samantha was crying on the first page! He asked her to stand with him, dropped on his knee, and she said yes!
Their wedding day was straight out of a fairytale. Picture this: 70 degree weather, peak fall colors, perfect blue sky, and dreamy mountain and lake views! What more could you ask for? The vibe was elegance, and embracing the natural beauty of their venue. They wanted Charlottesville Va to win the hearts of their guests so they invited them to a rehearsal dinner at King Family Vineyards and the farewell brunch at Farmington Country Club.
They performed a foxy routine to Perfect Duet as the sunset gleamed through the event barn’s windows which followed an impromptu sunset photoshoot that allowed them to soak really in the day together.
