NEW YORK — A Queens deli operator was ambushed by a suspect armed with a pistol and an assault rifle.
CBS2’s Natalie Duddridge spoke with the sufferer, who explained the terrifying ordeal from the medical center.
Video displays a guy wearing all black wander into Categorical Deli on Rockaway Boulevard in South Ozone Park and pull out a pistol.
Police explained the guy fired a number of occasions at Sam Kaid, 47, who was doing the job powering the counter Thursday afternoon.
A bullet grazed Kaid’s head, another strike his wrist. A 27-yr-outdated guy was also shot in the wrist.
