A New York Metropolis judge locked up party planner Lauren Pazienza Tuesday for shoving 87-12 months-previous voice mentor Barbara Gustern to her demise – just after her fiancée spoke to investigators.

“I am remanding,” the judge said, expressing problem that the defendant is “a critical flight hazard.”

Pazienza confirmed no emotion as courtroom officers handcuffed her and led her to a holding cell.

Previously in the proceeding, the Trend Institute of Technology graduate pleaded not guilty, via her lawyers, to 1st-diploma manslaughter and two counts of 2nd-diploma assault. 

Prosecutor Justin McNabney argued that Pazienza could flee now that she’s been indicted on crimes for which she faces as substantially as 25 years in prison.

That’s when Pazienza charged down W. 28th St., ran straight for Gustern, identified as her a “b-tch” and shoved her so challenging she bashed the left facet of her head, court documents allege.

Times later, Pazienza referred to as Pereira and requested him to meet her. She allegedly berated him for “ruining her evening” with out mentioning that she had attacked an elderly woman, according to prosecutors.

Ahead of the few headed again to their Astoria apartment, she allegedly stood in the center of W. 29th St. wanting right at the ambulance outside Gustern’s creating.

She deleted all her social media – such as her wedding ceremony website — and hid out at her aunt’s house, Pereira allegedly instructed authorities.

After police knocked on the doorway of her parent’s Extensive Island household, Pazienza turned herself in. 

A medical examiner testified in the grand jury that the blunt drive wound to the prime of Gustern’s head required “considerable drive.”

Pazienza’s defense lawyer John Esposito argued that the details of the case experienced not adjusted due to the fact her arrest and there ended up no grounds to modify her bail situations. 

Esposito stated that she is dwelling with her moms and dads and is receiving counseling “on a number of problems” but has no psychiatric analysis. Her mother was in the courtroom, as were quite a few family users and mates of Gustern.
