The Story: Gertrúd & Dávid decided to get married at Slovenia’s stunning Lake Bled. The natural beauty of the local scenery was stunning so they wanted this to be the star of the show, opting for minimal décor.
The Location: The picturesque Lake Bled which lies in the northwest of Slovenia. Forest covered mountains encircled by beautiful calm crystal waters makes Lake Bled one of the most popular tourist destinations in Slovenia. It is also a picture perfect location for an exotic destination wedding.
The Vibe: Old world charm with breathtaking views. The scenery around Lake Bled is jaw dropping and what better way to experience it than on the water with your loved ones, even if this is just for the entrance to your wedding reception.
The Details: The colour palette for this wedding was all about earthy tones (shades of green and white) with gold touches. Some luscious dark green tones were used for stationery items such as the menus. Green pairs beautifully with gold and gold accents, like those used on the seating arrangements, really lifted the aesthetic in an old world kind of way. To ensure that the details did not overshadow the natural beauty of the local scenery, florals were kept minimal.
