Emmi Caffè Latte, the iced coffee brand available in retail stores, has announced it will be Love Island’s exclusive coffee partner when the show launches early next month, following a successful partnership in 2022.
To mark the sponsorship, Emmi has launched a NEW popcorn flavour and a limited-edition pack design combining the fun and recognisable Love Island branding with the high-quality Emmi look and feel. Emmi Caffè Latte will also be running exciting competitions – prizes will include Love Island merchandise and two pairs of tickets to travel all-expense-paid to watch the final in Majorca.
This summer, Emmi will also be the official sponsor of Love Island’s “First Look”, which shares exclusive clips of each show via social media, the app and website. Emmi Caffè Latte will be “spilling the beans” on all the gossip in a bid to create engaging content for consumers to enjoy as they indulge in a coffee moment.
John Mulvey, head of marketing at Emmi UK, comments: “We’re excited to be partnering with Love Island for a second year. We know the show resonates with our consumers and creates moments people love, which is the perfect occasion to enjoy our coffee made with love.
There can be a lot of FOMO about missing out on Love Island, so we’ll be supporting our partnership with a campaign amplifying the moments people love across traditional and social media, be that revelling in the gossip when we “spill the beans” or connecting with friends over that morning coffee and a catch-up on the drama from the show.”
ITV comments: “We’re delighted to have Emmi Caffè Latte on board again for a second year. We see the partnership as a great brand fit as we know it’s a product that young people love, including many of our Islanders. We look forward to seeing the Emmi content come to life throughout the duration of the show.”
As part of the partnership, Emmi will have product placement inside the villa fridge, ensuring the Islanders can get their daily coffee fix just as easily as consumers can. The first show airs on Monday 5th June; the same day the Emmi Caffè Latte Love Island ad goes live on ITVX and YouTube.
