I was actually car shopping when the kind woman selling my new car discovered I was getting married. She exclaimed she recently got married herself and found her dress at Jillian’s Bridal Outlet and she highly recommended it. At Jillian’s, it is first come first serve and so I decided to go the following weekend as soon as they opened to check out the selection. Going in I knew the exact style I was looking for; long, laced sleeves, a form-fitting mermaid style and something that made me feel like a beautiful princess. After trying on 10+ dresses that didn’t fit quite the way I wanted, one of the assistants brought out some other styles to try. With only 30 minutes left on my hour scheduled appointment, this was the moment I tried on my dress. When I came out of the dressing room everyone in my group had the sweetest reactions. Even the group that was across from us all turned their heads to look at me in the dress all expressing agreement that it was their favorite dress. It was a strapless, ball gown style and nothing like how I pictured my wedding dress (especially since the ceremony is outdoors in December) but man was I in love! I finally understood what it meant when brides would say they felt like a princess. I was considering doing a dress swap for the reception but I just could not imagine taking it off. I ended up leaving it on and dancing in my gown the entire night! Thank you Eddy K for creating the dress of my dreams! – Kendall
