Dollar General adds incoming CEO Jeff Owen to board

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Jeff Owen will be included to Greenback Standard Corp.’s board of administrators on the performance of his marketing to main executive officer on November 1, 2022, the enterprise said.

With Owen’s appointment, Dollar General’s board will consist of 10 complete customers with intensive knowledge and expertise throughout many industries. In July 2022, Greenback General introduced Owen would do well Todd Vasos as CEO. Vasos will serve in a senior advisory situation with Dollar Basic from November 1, 2022 by means of April 1, 2023, at which time he will retire from work with the enterprise and is anticipated to continue on to serve as a member of the company’s board.

Owen, who has been with the enterprise for approximately 30 several years, assumed Dollar General’s chief running officer job in August 2019 having previously held the roles of government vice president, retail store operations from June 2015-August 2019 and senior vice president, shop operations from August 2011-July 2014. Prior to August 2011, Owen served DG as a vice president, division supervisor retail division supervisor senior director, operations process advancement and retail outlet supervisor, among the other roles. He commenced his employment at Dollar Typical in 1992 as a shop manager trainee in a Nashville, Tenn., retail store.
