Autumnal European Romance Wedding Inspiration

Autumnal European Romance Wedding Inspiration

As the cool embrace of autumn bids us adieu, we couldn’t resist giving one final nod, a heartfelt cheer, and a resounding hurrah to one of our most favourite seasons of all.

Dreamt up by Louise Treacy Photography and stylist, wedding planner Event Den, the team wanted to create an ode to the transitioning of seasons. And as it seems is the theme of this winter in Australia, they were inspired by the romance and elegance, the sophistication, of Europe.

Our “couple to be”, wandering the grounds of the beautiful Camp David Farm as the carefully curated editorial unfolds before them. Model Cassie Hancock takes on the role of our “bride”, dressed in beautiful gowns sourced from local designers Mia Ateliers and Maison Oui the sophistication is in line with modern, European romance. Cassie’s look is adorned with jewelled accessories by Australian designer Amelie George. Hair and makeup artist Faces by Eboni created a soft, romantic look that embodied the elegance of the shoot. Our groom is impeccably dressed in a classic black tux from Tarocash.

The scene is set with the ceremony between the trees, and dark wooden bentwood chairs (from the team at The Table Station, who supplied all of the furniture for the shoot). The vision of Judah Rose begins with romantic, wild arrangements of blooms in deep caramel and rosy hues, amongst peaches, whites and blush tones welcoming guests to witness the ceremony.

Afterwards, as the newlyweds wander the gardens, they come across their reception. A beautifully adorned long table outside in the garden greets. Draped with white linens from Table Art and coloured taper candles from Candle Co, the look is completed with blooms in modern vessels set amongst Evergreen Ink designed menus and place cards.  The pièce de résistance buttercream wedding cake by Mignone Cakes, is simple and adorned with fresh flowers. The team pulling together modern elements to honour the effortless European styling.
