Whether you need casual or formal outfit ideas for church, today I am sharing a variety of church outfits. In all honesty, it doesn’t really matter what you wear to church. After all, Jesus just wants us to be with Him (and know Him) and He is not the least bit concerned with what you wear. However, the location you attend church may have a dress code for service. Or maybe you find yourself wearing the same thing week after week, and just need a little inspiration for what to wear. The basics of church outfits
While most church are open to casual wear, some are not and require formal wear (more ideas for that below). My favorite moto is to “come as you are”! However, if you are new to church-going and don’t know where to start in terms of outfits I would recommend dressing up and dressing more modest, if you are not sure what exactly to wear. I personally, always prefer to be overdressed for any event, rather than underdressed. In my opinion, modestly is probably the most important thing for church outfits when you aren’t sure what to wear. Nothing too short (skirts or shorts) or cropped (tops) and nothing too tight.
Midi Dress Outfits
Midi dresses are so easy for planning any type of outfit. You can easily throw on a light jacket or sweater if the weather (or AC) calls for it. Otherwise, the dress itself is a classic and modest outfit for church! These dresses will work well for Easter service as well. After service, the dress can be worn to lunch.

Maxi Skirt Outfits
A maxi skirt is another great option for church because it is easy to dress up or down. Pair a basic tee & jacket with any of these skirts for a casual look you will want to wear all week! If you are concerned with modesty, this length ensures you are covered appropriately.
