2. The Mystic River
The Roger’s Ofime directed series, tells the chilling story of a doctor who sets out to uncover the horrifying mystery behind the disappearances of pregnant women in a certain particular village. The horror series which features Jide Kosoko, Dele Odule and Lota Chukwu is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
3. Nneka The Pretty Serpent
If you are a fan of movies like Snakes on the Plane or Anaconda then this legendary classic reboot is the perfect pick for you. Directed by Tosin Igho, the film is a reboot of the popular 90’s film of the same name and stars Idia Aisien, Bovi, Kenneth Okolie, Shaffy Bello, Waje and Chioma Chuwuka amongst others. The film tells the story of a young woman who, in her quest to avenge her parents’ mysterious death gets possessed by a serpent and unleashes chaos on her enemies. Saving the best for the last! the long-anticipated Netflix blood-curdling two-part film which debuts on October 31st has got everyone talking. Madame Koi Koi spookily explores the origin of a popular dark tale about an evil woman who haunts and terrorizes boarding schools. The film features an outstanding cast of notable talents including Iretiola Doyle, Chioma Chuwuka, Deyemi Okanlawon, Baaj Adebule, Martha Ehinome and Omowunmi Dada. If you ever studied in a boarding school, you can totally relate to this movie.
