BAJ launches new apprenticeship programme for jewellery businesses

The British Academy of Jewellery has introduced the start of a new apprenticeship programme to deliver specialist schooling to budding jewellery field workers and support jewellery organizations upskill their workforce.

In accordance to BAJ, the new BAJ apprenticeship providing “is in line with the new regular for the Jewellery, Silversmithing and Allied Trades Professionals”.

BAJ claimed that the new regular “promotes a nearer performing relationship in between employer and education provider”.

It also aims to inspire apprentices to go after specialist pathways within the market, which permits participating companies “to acquire expertise straight in line with the wants of their business”.

BAJ’s new round of apprenticeships will start in September 2023 and will operate at its London and Birmingham campuses.
