Last week I put up a question box asking what you’d like to see more of in 2023 and so many of you requested more series on how to style one piece several ways. Ask and you shall receive! Figured I’d start off with sharing a classic closet staple; a black blazer. I picked up this twill jersey blazer from Nordstrom for under $100 and it’s slightly oversized, but perfect for dressing up or down. I styled it below 5 different ways, including looks for workwear, date night and casually for running errands. If you want to see these looks in action, be sure to check out my latest reel on IG.
It looks like sizes are going fast, but rounded up several affordable options from some of my favorite brands, all available at Nordstrom. I tried to cover all the details below, but let me know in the comments if I missed anything.
Work Meeting
A classic all black look. I also picked up these cropped denim jeans to pair with the blazer and love how they look with the higher ankle booties. If your job doesn’t allow jeans, you could easily swap for a pair of slacks.

Weekend Brunch
An easy look made up of all your go-to closet staples. Casual and chic, yet perfectly comfortable for chasing around toddlers.

Date Night
I love pairing a blazer with faux leather shorts, and couldn’t resist this faux leather skirt when I saw it on the site. It’s only $56 and also comes in black. I thought the burgundy color would be fun for winter.

Post Workout Errands
If you’re like me and often have a few errands to run before or after working out, but hate going in just your leggings and sports bra, try tossing on an oversized blazer for a more pulled together and chic look. This is also perfect for school drop-off/pick-ups.
