We’ve never met an Omni William Penn wedding we didn’t like but this one might just take the cake. After proposing with a Henne Jewelers engagement ring, William and Christina worked with Shayla Hawkins Events to bring their vision of a classic, elegant, romantic, glamorous, fun celebration to life. Never one to disappoint, the team at SHE knocked this design out of the park. A custom-printed floral dance floor, jaw-dropping florals from Mocha Rose, and a starry-like canopy of twinkle lights from EF Lighting are just a few of the awe-inspiring details, but there were loads more. A wall of lush greenery served as a fresh backdrop to the couple’s sweetheart table while a mix of blush pink and metallic gold chargers from All Occasions Party Rental adorned the tablescapes. Loree Mayer Design created the couple’s monogram and wove it into everything from the invitations, ceremony programs, menu cards, and even the Bethel Bakery wedding cake. Will and I met while we were students at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. We quickly became friends and completed our internships at the same pharmacy. A few months prior to graduation, we decided to take our relationship to the next level…and the rest is history.
Will told me that we would be spending the weekend with his parents, but instead, he surprised me with an amazing trip to one of our favorite vacation spots in Florida!
We wanted classic elegance, romance, glamour, and a lot of fun! We had the support of Shayla Hawkins and the fabulous SHE team.
Our celebration was very family-oriented. Both of our parents were involved in the planning and we feel like it really was a representation of our families becoming one. We love to entertain and we were very focused on giving our guests the best experience possible!
