Julie Bowen did not hold back on the girl talk in a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
When Hudson asked Bowen about her (seemingly massive) crush on Harry Styles, the actress gushed about seeing him in concert with her kids.
“Everybody should have a crush on Harry Styles,” she said. “Come on.”
They showed clips from Bowen’s TikTok page that showed her in the crowd at his California show in January, armed with a sign she personally made.
Bowen said she attended the concert with her kids and their friends, who all made their own signs for the show. She decided to get in on the fun with her own heart-shaped sign that was decorated with lights, which The Jennifer Hudson Show revealed with a video from Bowen’s TikTok page. “Harry, I’m old, but I know what I’m doing,” Bowen read it aloud for the audience.
“I think he could do worse than me,” she told Hudson. “I mean I’m not the youngest, but I think I could show him a good time.”
Bowen went on to say she checks her direct messages “nightly” to see if he has “slid into” her DMs yet. “Harry, if you’d like to slide into my DMs, just do it. It’s right there,” she said. But she later admitted, “No, I don’t think he knows I exist.”
The Modern Family and Happy Gilmore star appeared to be having the time of her life at that concert. Bowen also shared a video of herself in the general admission pit with other die-hard fans of Styles, captioned, “Making new friends in the pit while waiting for Harry!”
“All the famous people are up in the rafters, up in the fancy seats, and I was in the pit,” she told Hudson when they shared the clip. “Because that’s the kind of fan I am.”
“And he split his pants – it was so exciting!” Bowen continued.
The girl talk didn’t end there. When Hudson asked if Bowen had any other celebrity crushes to share, Bowen mentioned rapper Method Man and Denver Nuggets player DeAndre Jordan.
Don’t count yourself out just yet, Julie. It was announced in November 2022 that Styles and Olivia Wilde made the “amicable decision” to call it quits.
The Jennifer Hudson Show airs on weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on FOX.
