With our ‘new normal’ lifestyles, I like many of us have been making tweaks to my loungewear and intimates collection, swapping out my more traditionally designed, structured pieces for comfortable, everyday favourites. I’ve been seeing an osteopath as of late for my back and in light of needing some comfortable yet close cut clothing for my appointments, one of my best girlfriends turned me onto some Luvlette sports bras and leggings last year after sharing her love of some recently purchased pieces.
I was so pleasantly surprised by those bits I picked up – I’ll link them here (the bra) and here (the leggings) for you – I wanted to collaborate with Luvlette to show a little more from the brand as what I’ve tried is indeed, worthy of remark.
Luvlette’s brand ethos is to create pieces for the modern woman, to inspire individuality and freedom of expression. Made with style, design, functionality and quality in mind but delivered at a really affordable price point.
I plumped for the Cloud bras this time in Apricot (ID 7548577) and Black (ID 7548432) – a wirefree, slip-on design with light, removable padding.
Cloud is an apt name as they are so comfortable.
Just as with my Luvlette sports bras, these are supremely soft. The fabric is stretchy, compressive and poses no issue for my sensitive skin. The wider straps and band provide better support and less tug on the shoulders, especially pertinent for those of us with a larger bust.
If you’ve come across this post with some skepticism, I’d like to reassure you of the quality I’ve experienced. As well as the Luvlette pieces, I’ve also bought similar items from Chantelle, Anthropologie and M&S in the last couple of years and they’re very comparable.
Luvlette also offer nightwear – my favourite category of clothing. And it’s this pair of pyjamas (ID 6183132), with matching robe (ID 5721042) no less, that I’m particularly enamoured with.
Sure I like my silk pjs but in all honesty, who doesn’t enjoy an easy-care item…
This satin set has a really lovely feel (not all polyester is made equal) and the fabric feels neither stifling nor static-y. I love the blue and white print (predictably) with accents of beige and a contrast lapel and cuff.
