BBIA Last Skin and Last Sebum Foundation Reviews – Unboxing Beauty

Did you know that BBIA means “Be Brave As I Am”?   BBIA is an eco-friendly makeup brand that offers many vegan products, using ingredients and packaging that are sustainable. I love BBIA lip products so I decided to branch out to some of their other makeup item, specially foundation and powders!  I am always looking for good foundations and mattifying powders and BBIA has a line called “Last” that suited my needs.   I received these product from Jolse Cosmetic, a premier K-Beauty online store, complementary  for review purposes.

Skin Type/Concerns: Oily, blemish prone, dehydrated pores, aging skin with fine lines/wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation: sun damage & PIH

I received these products complementary to review and was not paid.  All reviews are my own honest opinion and  I never have been asked to write copy for a brand.  This blog post might contain promo codes, affiliate and referral links, which using my links will help generate a small commission that helps support my blog at no extra cost to you.

Last Skin in 01 Light Beige:  This vegan, cruelty-free foundation is more like a tinted moisturizer and I am all here for it!  It has a super light-weight texture that isn’t greasy or sticky.  The texture is so airy and velvety that it is almost like putting nothing on my skin, but it does provide a nice light coverage on my skin.  This has buildable, seamless  coverage as well without looking like a kabuki mask.

It is very easy to apply ~ I can use either my fingers or a sponge as it is so spreadable.  I just put a few dots on my face and blend out ~ honestly, this foundation is truly “a little goes a long way” ~ don’t overdo the amount as it does contain titanium dioxide in it and can leave a pasty look if you apply too much.

This comes in three shades, but I have only found the first two available

This has the light scent of tea tree, as it does contains tea tree oil ~ so  I know it will help with reducing oil production.  In fact, this tinted moisturizer has a semi-matte finish that is not cakey, doesn’t oxidize and doesn’t crease on my skin, even if I reapply this several times a day. It is not drying on my skin either, like a lot of semi-matte foundations can be.  Another bonus is that this is water and sweat proof for up to 80 minutes.    This product reminds me SO much of my beloved and discounted Jouer Matte Moisture Tint in Nude.

Last Sebum Pact Powder in 00 Super Clear is a fixing powder that is translucent. It is a multi-task product as not only can it be used on the skin to help mattify oils, but also can be used on the scalp to absorb excess oil.  This has no scent and the micro-powder is very lightweight.  It really helps with blurring pores while absorbing oil.  I used this product a lot during the summer!  It is a very nice fixing powder and I normally use a brush to apply initially, but this comes with a puffy pad which is handy during touch-ups.

Ingredients: Talc, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Diphenylsiloxy Phenyl Trimethicone, Nylon-12, Synthetic Beeswax, Magnesium Myristate, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin,Silica, Tocopherol

Where to Purchase

I am concerned that the Last Skin might be discontinued.  It’s that or it is so popular that it is sold out everywhere. It is still listed at BBIA’s Korean website and I can find it in limited shades on other sites, so I am hoping it is just really popular.  Jolse does still carry it, but in only two shades – 00 and 01.  02 seems to be sold out everywhere.  I have already purchased a few more of the Last Skin, just in case!
